OSYON at Anuga Food Tec in Cologne
Berlin, 01/22/2009. From March 10 through 13, OSYON GmbH will participate in the trade show Anuga Food Tec in Cologne. The trade show participation will focus on the latest version of the ERP system Quan sis. OSYON will present a solution that has been pre-configured for the use in the food industry. It targets small to midsize businesses with independent product development.
Quan sis features typical ERP modules such as sales, production or warehouse; on top of that, however, the solution provides powerful modules for recipe management and optimization. Thus, Quan sis becomes an outstanding tool for advanced product development.
The user creates recipes using templates from the system’s database. The system automatically generates parameters such as nutritional values from stored raw material data. Furthermore, the system allows automated output of customer-specific product information such as bill of ingredients and general specifications. Product development does not only become faster but also more secure.
The recipe optimizer constitutes one of the system’s most outstanding features. The user provides criteria such as minimal protein content or maximum price, and the system automatically searches the database for alternative recipes that meet those requirements. Quan sis also supports automatic raw material replacement and thus helps companies to react quickly to all changes occurring in the market environment.
The system integrates OSYON’s own document management system, which provides a comfortable way to store documents in a central location, where they are associated with related projects, raw materials or finished products.
